New Obsession

So, I think I have a new obsession. Skyr. It's thick, creamy, tangy and I love it. Skyr is Icelandic 'yogurt' (technically it's a cheese) that is very tangy, tangier than greek yogurt and it's actually super healthy. Made from skim milk, it's non-fat, extremely high in protein - 16g in 6oz. - and it has live active cultures. I've only ever seen it at Whole Foods and Wegmans and it's ridiculously expensive for a 'yogurt,' but it's gooooood and good for you. If you ever get the chance to try it, TRY IT!

*Note - the skyr.is brand is imported from Iceland and is sweeter than siggi's, which is made in New York by an Icelander. They're both tasty, but siggi's can be a bit of a shock in comparison to traditional yogurt because of the tanginess.*

Long Overdue

So, I realized that I haven't updated my blog in a LONG time. A lot has changed since then, but am too lazy to write about it. At any rate, I updated my 101 102 list. Am definitely off pace! C'est la vie! :-)

Update!

So I made an attempt to update my 101 102 list!! The only thing I don't think I updated was the family contacts. I'm going to take this month's blog and write about my ROAD TRIP to the lovely city of Savannah where I got to see the lovely Mark & Jessica again. Angela and I took a 10-hour (each way) road trip to Savannah to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!! The road trip was long and straight, but Savannah was a blast. We drank and watched Rugby and drank and took naps and drank and went out. Who could ask for anything more?!

Okay, so I started this post a LONG time ago and never finished it, but am going to post it now and write an addendum later! Maybe.... Well, actually definitely because I must post a pic of my most favorite thing in rugby - the scrum!
